1. Full Paper Submission
 
  • Participant is required to prepare and submit the full paper according to the guidelines.

  • Authors must prepare their full papers of no longer than 7 pages using Microsoft Word, according to the author guidelines and one-column template
  • The E3S Web of Conferences Publisher reserves the right to exclude any papers if, the papers are considered inappropriate for publication by the Publisher. Please click here for the paper preparation guidelines
  • It is the policy of the E3S web of conferences to publish a maximum of two articles per author. This is regardless of his/her position on the list
  • At least one author of the article should attend the conference (physically or remotely)
  • By submitting a paper an author and all co-authors are assumed to agree with the terms of the E3S Web of Conferences. 
  • The authors are required to apply for, and obtain, permission to reproduce in electronic form any copyright materials to be included in this paper. 
  • Similarity, plagiarism, and self-plagiarism: All submitted papers to ISGST 2026 symposium will be checked and scanned using a similarity tool, before being sent to reviewers. Note that to be submitted for Indexation, the overall similarity rate of a paper should not exceed 30 percent, and the similarity rate to a single source should not exceed 3 percent. If you fail to do so, we have a right to exclude your paper from the proceedings. 
  • References: The article must contain timely, accurate and relevant references. Ensure that a set of references doesn’t excessively point to the same author(s) or the same publication with the intention to artificially increase the citations of certain authors. This precaution applies to a single article or a series of articles. Our team will carry out additional checks to eliminate any risk of citation manipulation that could affect the integrity and image of the journal.

  1. If available, author(s) must add the DOI number of the article. 
  2. References must contain the full title of the cited article
  3. A maximum of 15 references per article is allowed, with only a maximum of 3 citations to proceedings articles (this rule does not apply to EPJ WOC). Please note that article exceeding this quota can be excluded from the publication by the production team. 
  • Full papers should be prepared in English and carefully checked for correct grammar. Figures and tables should be of high quality. To ensure high scientific quality, all papers will be reviewed by at least TWO expert referees. All papers must be submitted in electronic form using the website of the conference. 
  • Once the reviewing process is complete, the registered author of each paper will be notified of the result by e-mail. The authors are required to revise their papers based on the review comments to improve the quality of their papers before the camera-ready paper submission. 
  • All accepted papers will be published in the E3S Web of Conferences proceedings

 2. Registration Fee Payment 

  • For the registration fee payment, please check the pro-forma invoice and payment in the paper acceptance notification email. 
  • After making the payment, participants please click the following button to fill in a form and attach the proof of payment. The organizing committee will contact you shortly after your payment has been verified.

3. Full Paper Acceptance Notification 

  • Notification of full paper acceptance/ rejection via email will be received after your full paper is reviewed by the expert referees. Please revise your full paper according to the reviewers’ comments and submit the revised full paper. The link of revised paper submission will be emailed to the participants. 
  • The revised full paper should be prepared according to the camera-ready paper preparation guideline
  • In addition, guidelines for attending conference will also be provided after the submission of revised full paper.  
Note: Poster presenters are required to print their posters in A1 size at their own expense.
 
4. Peer Review and Ethical Policy 

  • Paper submissions and peer review will be conducted in English. All papers will undergo a peer review process.

  • The copyright is retained by the author(s) under the Creative Commons Attribution license, which permits unrestricted use, distribution, and reproduction in any medium, provided the original work is properly cited. 
  • Authors grant EDP Sciences a license to publish their article and identify EDP Sciences as the original publisher. They also grant any third party the right to use, distribute and reproduce the article in any medium, provided the original work is properly cited.

6. Poster Preparation Guideline 

  1. The poster should be laid out in portrait style, no landscape poster will be accepted. 
  2. The poster must be one page ONLY
  3. The poster must include the title of the paper, the author's names and the affiliations at the top of the poster. 
  4. The poster must include the ISGST 2026 logo (upper right corner of the poster) and paper ID (upper left corner of the poster) 
  5. The final posters have to be in A1 size (594 mm x 841 mm). 
  6. The poster should be easily readable at a distance of TWO (2) meters. 
  7. The poster must be in English. 
  8. Introduction, methods, results and conclusions sections are advised to be included in the poster. 
  9. Prevent excessive amounts of text, instead, convey information using concise bullet points. 
  10. Suggest to incorporate clear supporting images like graphs, tables and photographs to enhance the understanding of the results. 
  11. Any potential conflict(s) of interest must be disclosed on the poster. 
  12. Suggest to print the poster with simple poster paper, no need to use expensive/glossy paper. 
  13. Please bring the printed posters and double-sided tape to the conference venue. No printing service will be provided on-site. 
  14. The poster must be displayed for the whole duration of the session 
  15. The authors are responsible for hanging up their poster before the start of the session and removing them after the session ends. 
  16. One of the authors should stand by the poster for the complete duration of the poster session.
