Authors Information

Authors are invited to submit their original research which is not currently under review in any other conference or journal. All submissions must be written in English and follow the standard guidelines of the Publisher. All submitted abstracts/papers will be peer-reviewed and the conference proceedings will be published as an open-access volume of E3S Web of Conferences indexed by Thomson Reuters and SCOPUS.

 

Scope of the Conference

The theme of the conference is Bolster Sustainable Future via Green Technology. Authors are invited to submit their work to the conference that best resonates with the scope of the conference. If you want to submit a paper on an additional topic not mentioned below, please write an email to isgst2024@utar.edu.my .

 

It should be noted that the abstracts and full papers that are not in line with the conference scope will be rejected. In addition , the publisher has a final say on the submitted paper publication in the E3S Web of Conferences: Environment, Energy, and Earth Sciences.

Authors Guidelines


Abstract Submission Guidelines:

Abstracts should be prepared in English and carefully checked for correct grammar. To ensure high scientific quality, all abstracts will be reviewed by the expert referees. All abstracts must be submitted in electronic form through the submission link .

Once the reviewing process is complete, the corresponding author of each abstract will be notified of the result by e-mail. The authors are required to follow the reviews to improve their work and proceed with the submission of the full paper.


Participation Steps for Presenting Participants (Oral or Poster Presenter)

1. Please prepare your abstract according to the abstract preparation guideline before registration.

2. You will receive notification of abstract acceptance/ rejection via email after your abstract is reviewed by the expert referees.

Stage 2: Full Paper Submission and Registration Fee Payment

1. After receiving acceptance notification of abstract, you will be invited to submit full paper. Participant is required to prepare and submit the full paper according to the guidelines.

2. For the registration fee payment, please check the pro-forma invoice and payment details as indicated in the abstract acceptance notification email.

3. After making the payment, participants from China please click HERE, and participants from the rest of the world please click HERE, to fill in a form and attach the proof of payment. The organizing committee will contact you shortly after your payment has been verified.

Note: For those participants who have missed the abstract submission, don't worry! You are still welcomed to register and submit your full paper directly through the link given below.

You just have to click ‘No’ when you are asked whether you have a Paper ID in the first page of the form and then proceed with the registration and full paper submission.

 

Stage 3: Full Paper Acceptance Notification

1. Notification of full paper acceptance/ rejection via email will be received after your full paper is reviewed by the expert referees. Please revise your full paper according to the reviewers’ comments and submit the revised full paper. The link of revised paper submission will be emailed to the participants.

2. The revised full paper should be prepared according to the camera-ready paper preparation guideline as given HERE.

3. In addition, guidelines for attending conference will also be provided after the submission of revised full paper.

Note: Poster presenters are required to print their posters in A1 size at their own expense.

2. After registration, you will receive payment notification email. Kindly follow the guidelines provided in the email for conference fee payment.


Poster Preparation Guideline
1.  The poster should be laid out in portrait style, no landscape poster will be accepted.
2. The poster must be one page ONLY.
3. The poster must include the title of the paper, the author's names and the affiliations at the top of the poster.
4. The poster must include the ISGST 2024 logo (upper right corner of the poster) and paper ID (upper left corner of the poster)
5. The final posters have to be in A1 size (594 mm x 841 mm).
6. The poster should be easily readable at a distance of TWO (2) meters 
7. The poster must be in English.
8. Introduction, methods, results and conclusions sections are advised to be included in the poster. 
9. Prevent excessive amounts of text, instead, convey information using concise bullet points.
10. Suggest to incorporate clear supporting images like graphs, tables and photographs to enhance the understanding of the results.
11. Any potential conflict(s) of interest must be disclosed on the poster.
12. Suggest to print the poster with simple poster paper, no need of using expensive/glossy paper.
13. Please bring the printed posters and double-sided tape to the conference venue. No printing service will be provided on-site.
14. The p oster must be displayed for the whole duration of the session
15. The authors  are responsible for hanging up their poster before the start of the session and removing them after the session ends. 
16.  One of the authors should stand by the poster for the complete duration of the poster session.
